EDMONDS COLLEGE CYBERSECURITY AND DIGITAL FORENSICS PROGRAMS

Edmonds College has been offering programs in cybersecurity and digital forensics since 1999. Our faculty consists of internationally recognized cybersecurity and digital forensics experts that have trained Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security personnel to protect some of the most aggressively targeted information systems in the world. Come learn for yourself why students travel to Edmonds College from all over the globe to become cybersecurity and digital forensics professionals.

CAREERS IN ELECTRONIC DISCOVERY

Electronic discovery is a fast-growing field, and law firms, government entities, businesses, and other employers are searching for professionals with expertise on the subject. Related to digital forensics, electronic discovery refers to any process where electronically-stored information is found or secured for administrative, civil, or criminal matters. Because of the increasing need for electronic discovery, the average annual salary for an analyst in the U.S. is more than $100,000. Your speakers will cover processes used in the collection and preservation of electronically stored information, current trends in the field, and the requirements for several of Edmonds College electronic discovery programs.

TALES FROM THE TRENCHES

Half a million dollars stolen over the weekend by cyber criminals in Russia. An attorney that admits to destroying computer evidence. A diary that was falsified in the hopes of inheriting hundreds of thousands of dollars. A Last Will and Testament reassembled from digital fragments. Fodder for mystery novels? These are real cases that Steve and Mike have worked on as cybersecurity and digital forensics experts over the past ten years.
